9pm to Midnight
The Rob Glide Trio
New Year’s Party Every Hour
At The Moulin Rouge Lounge
Stanwood, WA
Make reservations for dinner before you go to your other New Year’s parties, or make the Moulin Rouge your smoke-free choice to ring in the new. Either way, on December 31st, Rob Glide, Mark Dodge, and Kevin O’Reilly play in the new year at the second annual “Moulin Rouge New Year’s Eve Party Every Hour.” Celebrate the New Year in Puerto Rico at 8:00, and in New York at 9:00. The celebration continues through the U.S. time zones until Stanwood officially turns the clock at midnight. The Moulin Rouge will offer appropriate drink specials each hour (such as a “Rumball” for Puerto Rico). Maxime’s restaurant will have a number of New Year’s Eve dinner specials, in addition to the great selection of regular menu items and Moulin Rouge appetizers. The Moulin Rouge is located right next to Maxime’s Restaurant, 10007 270th St NW, Stanwood, WA. Phone 360-629-6002.

at History of the World Gallery
Live music on beautiful South Camano Island from 1pm to 3pm at the History of the World Part IV Gallery, 3311 E. Camano Drive. Healing Monkey is a loose affiliation of top local musicians who get together on an unspecified yet consistently periodic basis to play unstructured, untethered, and unrestricted improvisational instrumental monkey jazz, often under unscheduled circumstances. On this rare scheduled appearance, Healing Monkey is Patrick Donicht on bass and percussion, Thomas Kemper on drums and percussion, Kevin O’Reilly on keyborads and percussion, and Mark Dodge on guitar, bass, and percussion.
